DESCRIPTION:Join us for our annual event to assemble 300 care packages for the hardworking migrant workers who spend their summers working in South Jersey’s blueberry fields. To purchase in-kind donations\, please visit our Amazon Wish List. We will shut this list off by 04/10/2024 to ensure we have enough time to purchase the remaining items. You can also sponsor 5 bags for $20! To make a monetary donation\, please visit PayPal or Venmo \nWe will also assemble care packages for a local women’s shelter ahead of Mother’s Day. We are accepting new jewelry\, skin care\, makeup products to add to the bags. \nWe will also assemble bagged lunches with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to be distributed in Camden. Although this is a great way to engage children to give back to the community\, we need an adequate number of adults to assist our youth volunteers. Each blanket takes ~1 hour to assemble in full.
