DESCRIPTION:Join us for our annual event to assemble 150 care packages for the hardworking migrant workers who spend their summers working in South Jersey’s blueberry fields. To purchase in-kind donations\, please visit our Amazon Wish List. We will shut this list off by 05/01/2025 to ensure we have enough time to purchase the remaining items. You can also sponsor 5 bags for $25! \nWe will also assemble bagged lunches with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to be distributed in Camden. Please consider purchasing items for our meals event – there are plenty of ways to help! \nAs you know\, our events are 100% volunteer driven and we fully rely on our generous donors to make our events possible. Please consider making a donation towards the items purchased for our events. DESCRIPTION:Please join us to make hygiene kits and assemble no-sew fleece blankets for local organizations. It’s almost the holidays – please bring an unwrapped new present for a child age 0 to 17 that will be gifted to our neighbors at Ethel Lawrence! \nPlease visit SignUp Genius to purchase and donate items for the event.\n \nNo-sew fleece blankets: This project engages individuals and families in a fun\, hands on activity which involves little to no skill. Although this is a great way to engage children to give back to the community\, we need an adequate number of adults to assist our youth volunteers. Each blanket takes ~1 hour to assemble in full.
