November 2019: Family Fall Festival

COMMUNITY hosted its second annual family fall festival to appreciate its generous members and volunteers. With over 150 attendees, the event had a lot of fun activities for everyone in attendance.

Attendees decorated greeting cards, pumpkins, and gingerbread houses; had their names written in beautiful calligraphy; made a couple of no-sew fleece blankets; got their faces painted by the fantastic Mimi Gallen; competed to see who could eat a donut the fastest using no hands; took a stab at Warrior Gyms''s obstacle course; made beautiful art with Garden State Discovery Museum, and enjoyed some great music from Dadum Entertainment!

Attendees decorated greeting cards, pumpkins, gingerbread houses, and cupcakes; had their names written in beautiful calligraphy; made a couple of no-sew fleece blankets; competed to see who could eat a donut the fastest using no hands; took a stab at Kid Fit NJ's obstacle course; made beautiful butterfly art with Garden State Discovery Museum, and enjoyed some great music from GP Entertainment!

Donations were made by many local organizations to help with fundraising efforts. March 2018: Movie Night

COMMUNITY showed UPF’s Enemy of the Reich at the Mount Laurel Library, a true story about a young Muslim woman in Nazi-occupied Paris who joined Winston Churchill’s covert operation to give the Allies a chance at victory.

April 2017: Resettled Refugees Welcomed to the Region

South Jersey residents packed into the Cherry Hill Skating and Fun Center on April 30 to welcome Syrian refugees who recently resettled in the region. COMMUNITY organized the fun-filled "Family Night," which included roller skating, pizza, and transportation for 85 refugee guests who were warmly received by over one hundred of their new neighbors.

March 2019: Bowling

Volunteers enjoyed a couple hours of pizza, pins, and pop for a good cause at The Big Event in Cherry Hill, NJ. A portion of all ticket sales were used to continue sponsoring our events.
